LIFE IS NOT FAIR, WHAT ABOUT YOU?













There are some times when you hit rock bottom in your life, or at least feel like one. You feel desperate to succeed and that is the single most thing lacking in you. In a desperate attempt to prove yourself, you start looking for ways to top it off even on the silliest of things. If you feel alone at this time right now, and simply can’t seem to handle this rejection which knocks you off again and again, trust me, when I say, there is nothing better than letting it out completely. I have curated a list of some ways you can deal with rejection in your life, no matter what the situation is.


1) Keep in mind, you are not the only person

Always remember, when life knocks you down, there is always a chance to get up. Most of the people who did it are now the torch bearers of this generation. You are just facing something different, but the feeling is the same. You are not alone!


2) Try thinking about everything good

Confidence comes in self appreciation. I know this is a lot to ask specially at this particular moment. I totally understand your critical stage, but if thinking something good about yourself diverts your mind to an extent, go for it!


3) Engage yourself in something productive

The best way to avoid thinking about something is to engage oneself in some task. Do whatever you feel like; just avoid thinking about it again and again. I know it hurts, in fact a lot! Trust me, it helps!


4) Talk it out

This is a very critical aspect. I would not advise you to talk it out to any random person. It will just make you look pathetic. Have a confidant for yourself, who you know will never turn on you. You can share with them!


5) Let it go

The best option? Yes it is! It is no use sticking to something that is not worth your happiness. Put yourself above everything. If it does not help you, let it go. I know it is hard, but getting free from the very rejection, is to simply let it go!






6) Engage with people

Try all ways to keep yourself occupied. Just a few moments spent along with friends is enough to keep you happy for the day. Even if you find yourself sinking in your heart, grab on to it. You are just becoming strong.



7) Respect yourself

Respect yourself enough to let go of things that are not meant for you. No matter what the thing is, ultimately it is all about your self-respect. When you can’t respect yourself, do not expect others to respect you too! You getting me, right?


8) Take an inspiration

Read a lot of good books – novels, comics, short story pieces, anything good you can get your hands on. They take you to a world you have never been before and give you better life goals.


9) Take a trip if possible!

If at all you can go out for camping or some travel experience, I would strongly recommend you to do it. Just a brief stare at those long lost mountains or the still lake amongst the greenery all around is enough to give you a soothing experience to that aching heart.
