"So is it the drink or you are really beautiful?", He said.
She turned toward him taking a sip of her glass.
"Like really! that's worst pickup line I have heard, I want to puke", she teased.
He moved on to the next girl ignoring her.
"Such a dog!".
She cursed him and left the bar.
"That girl just told me, She'll date me if I'll get a kiss from you".
She stared at him for a second.
"I know you got ditched, don't you have any sense", she almost screamed and slapped him.
"Such a waste", he whispered and moved on to next girl.
"Umm..do I have to explain what just happened", he said.
The girl wearing a blue top, smiled and said,
"No, you don't need to".
"So its proved that I am a jerk, and still going to ask you out", he winked.
"Yeah, I know, I could actually agree to a drink, but what fascinates me is how are you able to do this", she rested her chin on her hand, and elbow on her knee sitting on a chair.
"Yes, flirt, that too with every other girl", she chuckled.
"You know that's a secret!", he whispered into her ears.
She got up,took her purse and started walking.
He shouted, "wait, wait, wait I'll tell you, but you have to keep it to you".
She nodded and sat back.
"How should I begin, umm.. Its not flirt actually. You see I prefer to call myself as "Santa of Heart"!", his eyes widened.
"Oohh..that's cheeky", she complimented.
"Yup..as Santa gives away gifts, I give my heart, its not fair to gift only one right? Everyone deserves this one.".
She started laughing.
"There's more to it, it gives you practice, and only experience can make you better.", He grinned
"You are funny", she said.
He bowed down and came real close to her,
It was sudden, she didn't expected it.
He was serious now. His voice was deep.
"But you know what? This Santa is actually searching for his heart, someone had stolen it, then broke it and gave back to the Santa. No one ever fixed the heart, so he has to give away every piece."
Then he pushed her back. Leaned on the chair and smiled, continuing,
"And if you have to distribute pieces why to waste on a single one?".
He started laughing and took a sip from his glass.
She was silent. The pub music couldn't be heard now. Only his broken heartbeat could.
She has got a piece of him now. A fragment of pain. A story of a flirt.
